Frank richmond Francis Cox married Gertrude Colwell in Gloucestershire
they had a son frank in 1898/8
i am trying to find any other connections to this family
lived in a hotel in Wells somerset
Who did the son Frank marry
was it Winifred ?

i now know that he was Frank cox married Winifred Annie M House around 1921, but cannot find any note of this marriage on bmd, can anyone suggest where i now look, i am assuming they married in Wells

I've just been through the full marriage index (I dontknow if that is where you had looked or if you just did the partial freeBMD indexes)
from 1919 -1923 incl, but there is no marriage of a Winifred House to a Mr Cox, anywhere.

Where did that info come from? Have you got a birth cert of one of the children of the marriage to confirm her maiden name?

I think yuor best move therefore would be to get a birth cert of a child of theirs to check out her name

Hi I have a birth  of a Winifred Annie M House jun qtr 1902 born wells  5c 403 
and a death Mar 1986 Weston super mare Somerset of Winifred Annie M Cox  birth date 3 April 1901 , i think the son registered her death with the wrong year, I know this is the correct year as i went to the funeral( I arrived late got stuck in the traffic, how embarrassing was that)
everything seems to fit. the son was born in 1942, perhaps the marriage is the wrong year, the plot thickens
