Hi All
Can anyone help me find my husbands maternal grt grandparents in 1891 please?
In 1881 census they were in Cheltenham in 1901 census they were in Newport Mon. Try as I might I cannot find them in the 1891 census anywhere.
William and Ann Maisey both born abt 1854 with children William b. abt 1872 and Louisa b. 1877. Both children born in Cheltenham.
Thanks tt

Thank you both.
I have the marriage of Louisa to Frederick and the 1901 census.
But I never seem to have any luck when putting in the folio page etc. It still comes up as no matches so I don't know what it is I have to do, have tried many ways of putting numbers in with no luck so, sorry to ask again but how do I get the page, or perhaps another clue?

Just type in the ref number leave all other fields blank, it should come up.
If not try for Albert age 10, or Ada age 6 the surname is transcribed as 'Maisey'
If not just do a first name search for one of the children with parents names no surname etc....

Hi
You have to select the 1891 Wales census first....
On Ancestry "Home" page scroll down to the list of censuses on the left hand side and select 1891 Wales.
At the bottom of the Search Box, to the right of RG12, enter the rest of the reference in the appropriate boxes. Leave everything else blank.
Page through the results until they appear.

Thank you all again
It must be summat to do wiv me bein fick - well someone has to be!
I don't know what it is but I still can't get any matches on any sites. I don't have full access on Ancestry but at least I have two more children's names and a possible death to work with now.
Thanks again tt

Hi
I think that you need to be a subscribing member in order to use anything but the most basic search facility (apart from the 1881 census).
From the way that you phrased your request, it seemed that you did have full access and we, therefore, only provided the reference for the missing item.
Now that it is clear that you do not have access to the original documents, here is the full entry....
