hi can anyone help me, i am looking for information about my gg grandfather who was born on 17th feb 1882 in campbeltown, i would love to know if he had brothers or sisters,any information would be good,i have little bits,i know that he was born high st campbeltown,worked as a carter and married mary brown on 28/5/1903

parents james muir and elizabeth mclellan
james muir born 28th november 1870 ayr ayrshire
parents james muir and elizabeth mcclelland
looking at the census returns and previous posts think james muir's(senior)
parents were james muir and margaret reid
his marriage or death certificate would hopefully give his parents
will have a look and see if i can find out more

hi have looked on scotlands people and yes it says james moore, it also says mason and also margaret reid deceased,i took moore to be a variation of muir and have located margarets death to be in ayr at 199 high st,i would love to know where james and margaret came from as they seem to move between ayr and campbeltown,so confusing,regards katrina
