Can anyone help me trace the families of  two  british citizens who came to Britiain around 1957.
The families of
CYRIL EDWIN GUY b.3/10/1910 in CHESTERIELD, DERBYSHIRE? and died feb 1966 in ROCHDALE LANCASHIRE and his wife
EDITH MAUD DAVIDSON b.2 /10/1910.
Also
ALEXANDER WILLIAM SMITH b.19/4/1910 and his wife
AMY WILLIAMSON who died around 1938.
It is known that Alexander's (1910) grandfather was made a 'Sir' after the Indian Mutiny of 1838-1839.

Knighthoods will have been mentioned in most major newspapers, in his local newspaper, and, I believe, in the London Gazette.
