Hi
I am trying to trace a birth record of John Jobson or Jopson born around 1789 in Isleham. There are children being christened according to IGI at this time in Isleham, but no John is listed. Does anyone have the parish records and could do me a quick look up please?

My John Jop/bson marries a Margaret Butcher 1816 in Wicken, so I guess not the same family, although I guess they could be connected somehow!
I will see if anyone comes up with the birth and then see if I can find a connection.

Welsh lady thank you so much for all your help.
You have found the right family and I already have the details of John & Margaret's children.
I have found someone who has done a lookup on the records and unfortunately John Jop/bson is not there, however there are births to a John & Mary who you suggested could be the parents and their other children mirror the names of John & Margaret's children.
I believe that he was one of their children, but without the baptism it is impossible to prove!
Many thanks for all of the information you found for me. I will have to decide where to go from here.
