Hi
I have seen numerous births on IGI to a William Cook and Frances, between 1812 and 1828.
Could someone please look up this family in the 1841 Census for me. I know of one definite daughter Harriett b. 1828. I think she had a sister Eliza b. 1813. (She would probably have left home by 1841)
I believe Harriett was born in Swinton and Eliza in Tickhill.
Many thanks

Thank you Wozzle
I have details after Harriett married Issac Day, although I did not have 1851 Census information.
Your deduction that the 1851 Census is them is probably right as the "Day" family, Issac's mother, also lived in Well Street, Swinton in 1851.
Thanks for that info.

Hi all,
Could someone please recheck 1851 Census below to verify Birthplace of William Cook, as Bothaton, nr Newark. I can't trace that place. Nearest is "Balderton"!!
Maybe the 1861 census may be clearer, if he is still alive at 75.
Many thanks.
