Hi Folks,
Not having any success finding on SP the death details of Mary Ann Ewen (born 1840, Ellon), who married Robert Watson in 1860 in Ellon. The last I have for her is a widow in 1901 census in West North St, Aberdeen.
I have tried various searches using all the combinations I can think off throughout Scotland, but each one I've viewed has been the wrong Mary.
Any suggestions welcome.

Hello Grothenwell,
I did a quick search and found: Mary WATSON, other name EWEN, died 1923, in Macduff, Banffshire. She was only 35 though but I do wonder if there's been an error made somewhere?

Many thanks for making the effort to help me, much appreciated.
I had a look at the cert and unfortunately it isn't her 
The lady was Mary Watson who married a Ewen, mine was vice versa

I can't say how many searches (and money paid) I've done looking for my 3 x grannie. All because I didn't tick the box "Return all forenames that begin with these characters"!
You found she was recorded as May, not her correct Mary! Well done!
