I can't see any SLATER baptisms in Maryport/Crosscanonby around that time - how do you know he was born in Maryport?

Hello GeoFFE i got the information from a birth &  baptism in Newburn Northld what i put in for a request and it says Thomas Slater was from Mary Port so i gathered that was Cumberland . Was there any births around 1770s,  i can`t find Thomas Slater and his wife Hannah Finey`s marriage either.  They might pop up at some point Smiley Gladys.

Hi GeoffE i have just been looking at some baptisms in Ponteland Northld and noticed a   baptism of two of the children their father was from Mary Port so i looked on Hugh Wallis genealogy page for Ponteland but no Thomas Slater although there was a couple more Slaters just thought i would let you know.   Gladys.
