Hi
Can someone help me find Samuel Simmon(d)s in 1841 please? I have tried for sometime without success and I'm hoping someone may be able to have a little more luck 
Samuel was born in 1812 in Kingston Lisle. I'm not sure whether he was married in 1841 (unable to find details of his marriage), but if so, his wife's name was Susan/Susanna. His first child was born in 1842 also in Kingston Lisle.
Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks for your reply. I've been thinking about this one for a while but I don't think it's my Samuel.
I've tried just about every combination of first and surname as well as dates etc but nothings coming up. I may have to accept that he's just not there!

there are plenty of Simmon(d)s living in Kingston Lisle in the 1841 census, but no Samuel

Thanks for your reply.
Most of the Simmons in Kingston Lisle are related to my Samuel - looks like he was hiding!!!! I know he wasn't with his mother - I've found her along with his brothers and sisters.
Hopefully he'll turn up eventually

Thats a possibility I hadn't considered as there has never been any sort of military connection to this branch - not that that means anything. I'll see whether I can find anything more.
