Johanna Harris Pappin  death 1933  age 59  4th qtr.  Bodmin

Hi S.Sullivan,

I am sorry, St Austell and Bodmin are the registration districts not necessarily the parishes. There are many parishes within the registration districts, particularily by this time. With St Austell by that time St Columb also became The St Austell District. Do you know what parishes they were living in at the time? They may even have died in one registration district and been buried in another. I am afraid you will need the certificates  Cry

Kris

Thanks.
I was hoping that I might not need the certificates as it gets a bit expensive with the rates of exchange.

It might be worth contacting the company that looks after the civil cemeteries in the St Austell area on behalf of Restormel District Council. I found them very helpful when trying to locate the burials of some relatives in St Austell.

http://www.restormel.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=7880

Bodmin Town Council is responsible for St Lawrence's & St Petroc's Churchyards

North Cornwall District Council will probably have responsibility for other cemeteries but they don't appear to have a page dedicated to them.

Thanks Sue for the information.  I will contact them to see what info. they have.

Do you know if they charge for this service, as I am in Canada.

When I requested information (via email) there was no charge. Mind you this was a couple of years ago now.

In some places charges have been introduced as more & more people have taken up family research.
