Looking for information before 1841 on the following
Newland Farrar B1759 Yorkshire
1st wife Christiana Robinson B1750 Ripon
2nd Wife Alice ?  B1760 Yorkshire 
Unable to find information on Newland's 2nd marriage
They lived at Marton-cum-Grafton Newland died 1847 Marton-cum-Grafton

Hi - I cant find anything for the unusually named Mr Farrar! But I did find two records for a christiana robinson - note spelling :

Both records are submitted by member of LDS church  - ie they are likely not to be right!

But it might give you a lead...

1) Christiana Robinson christened 8th June 1755 at Ripon Collegiate, father = William Robinson

2) Christiana Robinson christened 10th June 1750 Ripon Collegiate, parents = Christopher Robinson and Mary Bean

Thanks for the above replies was hopeful with such an unusual first name l might trace his parents but no luck, and not yet found the second marriage looks like its back to the records office again.
