Looking for any of the following,
William Potts born 1826 Derbyshire Pensioner 25th Reg
Elizabeth wife born 1828 Staffordshire
Henry Brunt step son born 1865 Staffordshire
Samuel Brother born 1816 Joiner
They were living at Potts yard in Buxton on the 1881 census ref RG11/3454/74/32

Hello again
Well, I'm struggling to find the others!
The only death I can see for Elizabeth in Chapel-le-Frith district was in 1883 and she was 10 years too old.
I can't see a Henry Brunt B. 1865 Staffordshire, one b. 1867 Henry P. Brunt, living with a brother Ernest Parker Brunt. But not knowing where he was born... this one was Leek.
Can't see Samuel either. 
I'l keep going a bit ....

Well - nothing for Henry
The only faintly possible I can find for Samuel is a Samuel Peat, b. 1816, widower, joiner, in Belper workhouse.
Sorry not to have been more helpful - If you know anything more about Henry I'll happily have another go.

Thanks for all your help you have been really kind and helpful.
This family are a pain. Elizabeth is on her own working as a servant on the 1871 census.
Henry is living with her sister on the 1871, and is put down as her child not nephew.
I think I have just found Elizabeth death in 1888 age 57, but will need to check it out.

He was born Winterside, Hollinsclough Staffordshire in 1865. I have him on the 1871 with his Aunty Sarah and her children.

I can see a birth on FreeBMD for 1866 for a Henry R Brunt,is this him??forgot to say his birth is in Leek..

Hi Mum44 and Hepburn, no thats not him, Henry R Brunt. He didn't have a brother he was an only child. Thanks any way. He doesn't have a birth certificate only a baptism. The Registrar at Leek checked all ref for him.
He was Bapt 7 Sept 1864.

Thanks Hepburn. Not him. The trouble is there are lots of Brunts in the area.
The Registrar at Leek checked all ref for Henry Brunt for me for 1860 to 1868. She says he doesn't have a birth certificate. I found his Baptism at Longnor Parish church. He had no father just Elizabeth spinster. Thanks for all your help.
