Nb Jane maybe a servant working away from home in the 1851 census.
There's a possible marriage on the IGI for a William Lee to and Esther Edwards 30 Dec 1833 in Eastham. Have to wait for the 1841 census, to see if they are married and have children ;-)

Hi Jean

This looks like the same family in 1841

Living in Little Sutton Cheshire

William Lee 30 Ag Lab
Ester  aged 30
James  aged 7
Jane aged 4
Ann aged 1

Unfortunately the 1841 doesn't give detalis of where they were  born but says 'Y'(yes) all born in county.

Hope this helps

Regards

Hi again Jean
You're welcome - just let me know if you would like the original details from the census- i can send them to you.
Jean- there's a possibility for Wiliam's baptism on the Cheshire Parish Register Database.
William Lee baptism in Bidston parish 28th Feb 1808 but living in Saughall -parents William and Sarah. There are a couple of other baptisms with the same parents.
There's an older William too-parents Thomas and Jane.
(put a 1 in front to get the year-I've attached the link)

Also on the IGI there's a baptism for James Lee on 11th June 1834 in Hawarden Flint Wales- parents William Lee and Esther.
Then a baptism in Hawarden of Elizabeth Latham Lee on 10th November 1844-parents William Lee and Esther.

Going back further a baptism for Esther Leatham in 1805 - not sure if this is too early for Esther?
These are all only possibilities as there's also the marriage of William Lee and Esther Edwards that Mel mentioned.

Just thought you might like to have a look.

Hi Neptune,

l would appreciate you sending the census details to me if you need to email them let me know and will pm my email address to you.

l think William Lee's parents probably are the ones Saughall (did not understand about put a 1 in front to get year) the link bought me back to the same post)

IGI l saw those and believe Esther  parents are Jonathan Edwards and Margaret Jenkins, Esther b. 13 Nov 1808 Hawarden. Jonathans parents Thomas Edwards  Esther ? m. 1779 l of their children named Latham. Margaregets parents are Samuel Jenkins & Margaret Johnson.

The Cheshire Parish Register Database is that your own disc?

Your help is very much appreciated.

kindest regards

Hi Jean

I've sent you a pm so I can send the details to you.

The Cheshire Parish Register Database isn't a disc - it's a project to put Cheshire parish registers on line-some are already done.

I wasn't sure how to do it at first either.
Click on Database
First select either Baptism/marriage/burial.
Then the parish (if you know it)from the drop down list and input the surname.
You should then get a list of names.
The numbers next to the names are actually dates - if you put a 1 at the start it will give you the year - then month - then date.
William Lee baptised in Bidston 8080228 - put a number 1 in front(at the start)and the date should be 28/02/1808.
Then click the circle and square of the record you want to view to get more details.

http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~cprdb/

I'll also send the details of the census records that Mel found.

Good Luck

Neptune
