The reason for your 'no image' is that births less than 100 years old are treated as modern records and cannot be downloaded online.  You can order an extract of the entry  at a cost of £10.00.  Alternatively someone who is visiting Register House, Edinburgh might be prepared to do a 'look-up' for you.

Hello Alice,

The meaning of 'no image' means that you can't view or download  it online. However you can order a copy, which I believes costs £10.  Shall send you a pm with some info on another option   :O)  Regards,   Steve

No pm - Isles posted - - Isles is correct, however:

A second option, if you need to do other Scottish research into the 20th century.   A great money saver - Aberdeen Registrars Office (as do many others in Scotland), - has Scottish Birth Marriage and Death (BMD) records online going back to 1855 and up to the present day (for Scotland).  Also have Old Parish Records (OPRs) and census records to 1901.  Charge £15 per hour.
An hour should be more than enough to get a good core of info.  They can be contacted on 01224 522033 or e-mail:  Searchroom@aberdeencity.gov.uk  They're really friendly approachable and professional.  Will save you days and pounds ++ on Scotlands People.

The link below indicates their services:

They'll be able to provide the info you need....................

If you only want a sight of the birth entry there's an even cheaper option costing £5.00.
If you give the staff at the public counter the name, date, and parish of the event they will bring you the relevant register book, and you can take a note of the details. If I remember correctly you can only do this once per day. Should you need several births, marriages or deaths you can utilise the Search Room as Piglet01 suggests.

Silly me ... I did know about the 100 years..My mind was obviously on a walk-about. However thanks for the other suggestions! Wish I could just go to the counter .. long walk from Canada!
Question for Piglet ... Notice you are looking for Crosbie ..who , where etc.

Thanks again
Dorothy
