 Smiley Brilliant.

Thanks Kris ( no wonder I couldn't find the marriage on BMD ).

I think, by looking at BMD. Sarah Tribilcock c 1844, married James Trebilcock HELLYAR, Dec Q 1869, St Columb.

In 1871, they are on census, with son Henry.
going back from there, I can find, James as son of Thomas Jnr HELLYAR and Barbara Unknown ( Trebilcovk ? )
In 1861, James is working for his uncle Richard HELLYAR, who I presume, is his father's brother.

Are you able to give me Thomas and Richard's parents details, please ?
I am presuming, if he is Thomas Jnr, his father is maybe Thomas snr ....................

thank you

junket ( who already has HELLYAR family in St Eval and is wondering if they are related )

Maria Hellyar is the daughter of Thomas and Barbara HELLYAR

Thomas HELLYAR = Barbara TREBILCOCK 3 Nov 1827 St Eval

PS Looks like James Trebilcock HELLYAR is also their son

 Smiley Thanks Kris.

John and Fanny ( Frances ) are the couple I originally had ( thanks to you )and was wondering, if there was a connection.

I had John 1771, as possibly having a wife Sarah, you have now given me the answer to that one.

Brilliant Kris.

It's wonderful, when it all fits together, like this one has.  I have entered all data and merged individuals.

Frank, was my thoughts re connection also, as to me that is the least common name.

Thanks again.

I got sidetracked, with all this marvellous info and the links to the other families, but have now, come back to the Trebilcock family.

Barbara Trebilcock, who married Thomas Jnr Hellyar, is she possibly, the daughter of James and Barber ( as listed on IGI ) Unknown, plesse ?
Making her the sister, of James and possibly, a Susanna ( who married, in 1799), an Elizabeth ( who married in 1794 ) and an Ann ( who married in 1790 ). ( only guessing as the dates, are close to that of James' marriage ( and a possible naming pattern of offspring ) )

James and Barber Trebilcock's possible childrem

James
Ann
Elizabeth
Susanna

Thank you

OOPs  Embarrassed

Thank you Kris.  Got my James'  mixed up.
Thank you for sorting me out.

I was hoping, that James and Anne, had a John and a Jonathan.

What I also meant to ask, was .........
James married Anne Daw, in 1798.

Also in the marriages are ..

A Susanna Trebilcock, married in 1799.
An Ann Trebilcock married in 1790.
An Elizabeth Trebilcock married in 1794

Are you able to tell me please, if James, Susanna, Ann and Elizabeth, are the children of James Trebilcock and Barber Unknown ?

Thank you

Junket ( who thinks she has now sorted her James from her James ).

Hi Althea.

I have contacted Susan, who kindly helped me, with my first link to the Hellyar family, which was Frank Hellyar and Catherine Lean and I am adding, with the brilliant help from Kris, to her foundations.

It's quite exciting, as my first school, was St Merryn, my father worked in Romford, at the time.  He had no idea of his family history and this is rather uncanny.
Especislly when I am told, my 10 x g grandfather,  who died in 1647, in Cornwall, is reputed to have originated from Somerset, 15 minutes, from where I now live.

Thank you,
