Hi Jack,
All I can tell you is that Chatham is in Kent.... definitely not Hampshire.
Chatham was a large garrison town.
Unfortunatley there were no census until 1841 .

Just another thought... Crookham Village is close to Aldershot which was and still is as far as I am aware a garrison town, some military connections there perhaps

I've checked the Hampshire baptisms and there does not appear to be a record of baptism for twins named Abraham and Sarah Mills.
There is a baptism if Abraham Mills in 1817, recorded as the son of a traveller from Great Kimber in Buckinghamshire. No corresponding entry for Sarah.
Have you checked for any baptisms in Chatham in Kent?
