Your welcome Celia, I'll keep my eyes open for any more when I'm going round other churchyards in the area.

hi have a look at this site, the name has many variations
orginanating from greatrakes farm
A bit late in the reply sorry i missed it Roll Eyes I did look at that website years ago but i got stuck, there were to many Anthony's Grin.I wasn't really interested in going up any further than the late seventeen hundreds. I like my hobby but i am not a fanatic so i was happy with what i have which is a few hundred names and thats just going up with the Male Greatorex

Hi Celia ..
I am new to this so hope it works ..
I have a Elizabeth Greatrex c1861  who married into my family ... a Joseph Hillman 1859.. they married at St Mary's Stafford  21 Nov 1886...I then have them in the 1901 cencus living in Leicester but cannot find anymore from then ..

Might this Elizabeth be connected to yourself ... Any further info would be appreciated...

Dave
