Hi Douglas. I am researching the Wilson family from Coldinham. I have an Agnes Wilson b 1780, Coldingham, married Henry Steele b 10.03.1776, Coldingham. Marriage date 27.11.1807. I think this is the same family. I don`t have parents or siblings for Agnes. The next Wilson i have is Josephb 1799 Coldingham. I am assuming that Joseph is related to Agnes in some way as there were not many Wilsons in that area.
Regards, Nicola

Do not know if this helps...Mary Steele, b. abt. 1791 married John Clezy. Both in Berwickshire...they moved to Australia. According to family in Australia, especially Dr. Peter Clezy...John ran afoul of Church authorities and moved the family to Australia...at one time the spelling of his last name was Clazy but after the move, he changed it back to the old, original spelling. I heard from Dr. Clezy many years ago and he was quite elderly then...have not heard since...
