Bertie Bloomfield 1898 - 1909

Hi all,
I am looking to find a full 1901 census record for Annice Horner. She was born in 1881 at Woodall, Yorks. An individual search shows that in 1901 she is living at Eckington in Derbyshire and is transcribed as Annie not Annice. She married Edric Horner at Eckington in 1899.
Regards Gregg

wow that was a tricky one - the index you searched was obviously better transcribed than mine but...
1901 Eckington 1 Stokes Building, School St
Hornes Edric Head M 23 b. Eckington, Derby Annis Horner Wife M 19 b Woodall Yorks Fred do Son 1 b. Eckington Derby
No jobs listed but everyone else around them appears to be a coal miner or similar.
Regards, Lee

Hi Lee,
I used the national archives 1901 census site to do my individual searches. In that index, Annis is transcribed as Annie and Edric as Edwd. It took me a while but they had to be there somewhere. Thanks to you, I now have the records that I was after.
Thanks for your time and effort Lee, it is very much appreciated. Regards Gregg

If possible.......I have another search in Eckington. This one is for the sister of Annis. Again it is in 1901, and this one is for Eleanor Bloomfield (B:1877 Wales Yorkshire). Her husband was Joseph and was a coal miner born in Ireland (1871).
All help appreciated as always Gregg

Thanks for that, omskirk. I will certainly be spending some time studying your site. It looks really impressive. I may well find info' on other ancestors that resided in the area at one time or another.
Many thanks Gregg
