searching for SMALLs in Northumberland
« on: Wednesday 09 April 08 17:14 BST (UK) »

Hi all,

I haven't been on the boards for ages due to illness, and now I want to crack on and tie up loose ends. If any anyone has a connection with a SMALL family I'd be pleased to hear about it.

Hi

Welcome back and I hope you are feeling better now

Could you give some info re: timescales involved and perhaps some names to help people decide if there is a connection to their FH

Thanks for the welcome! I must be better as I'm able to concentrate on FH and work on the computer!

My own family goes back to the mid to late 1700s, apparently being based in South Shields, then they pootle off for several years to chatham in Kent before returning to Shields in the 1830s.

I'm interested in tracking other SMALL families to see if there are any links to mine.

The main names in my family are: Charles, Robert, Francis, and Nicholas; but the only unusual female name is Dorothy.
