Roughly when was the eldest born? Do you have them on any censuses?
Could they have married in Chile?

I have found Arthur on the 1881 census with his parents and this states he was born in Walton which will help with later searches.
The ref for 1881 is RG11 3186 f96

Well Sasha there is definitely an Arthur Edward Beecheno born 1863 on Free BMD and on the 1881 census with his parents. I have also traced his parents in 1891 with 2 other sons.
If Elena was born in 1869 and they were having children in the 1890s that would be OK.
Will keep looking - getting an idea now of how his name might be misinterpreted.

So far as the censuses are concerned I can find various family members in each from 1861 to 1901. Bot I have only found Arthur in 1881. In 1871 I suspect he and older brother Charles were away at school as they are not with their parents.
I can find nothing on Arthur after 1881 although I canfind his brothers and their marriages! Do you think he might have gone abroad? Perhaps worth checking passenger lists.
I can let you have details of the censuses if you would like them.
