She is indexed on Ancestry in 1901 as Kate Winer, but the image is definitely of Kate Winn.
Living at 36 Upper Westbourne Villas, Aldrington (very near to Portslade) with her sister Hellen (that's how it's spelled on the image).
Hellen was aged 50 and born in Shermanbury, Sussex.
Kate was listed as 53 and born in Bristol, Gloucestershire
Both are "living on own means" and both are widows (strange to have the same surname, so Hellen may have been her sister-in-law?)

Interestingly in 1901 there is a 19 yr old Mabel Winn, born India, as a cousin to a Cecil and Emily Foss, in Aldrington
Wonder if this is another child of Catherines

Cecil and Emily FOSS were in Walsall, Stafford in 1881, son and daughter of Richard and Hannah FOSS, probably nee NOTT, married Droitwich, Jun qtr 1867. Can't find any connection with John, Catherine or Hellen with the FOSS or NOTT name, but there would have to be if Mabel WINN was a cousin to Cecil and Emily.

Trouble is, we dont know Catherines maiden name.
If Catherine was a NOTT before marriage, then her child would be cousin to Hannah Nott's daughter Emily, now Foss, for example.
I wonder if the children bn in India's births are on the Consular births or births abroad on Findmypast (those big index books that used to be by the window at the FRC in London) - sorry i have only Ancestry subscr so cant check.
But getting a birth cert would give Catherine maiden name, then we might be able to find her as a child in earlier censuses. Or if she married John Winn over here not India, we might get a marriage.
He was born Leicester, her in Bristol, and spent married life in India, could have married anywhere!
