hi folks, I'm looking for infomation regarding my ggmother Annie Louisa Belcher, l believe she was b1880 between Apr - June in Wantage, vol 2c & pg 316, she married Charles E Clutterbuck in 1902 I think in Portsmouth. If there is any1 in the area who could maybe find out for me, I would be truely greatfull, actually if any1 could offer any info dates ie death dates or parents/siblings of either with D.O.B. No matter how little the info is it would be great.

The birth reg you quoted is only in the name Annie?
How certain are you this is Annie Louisa??

both myself and a family member, who I recently made contact with for the 1st time, have got Charles Ernest Clutterbuck and Annie Louisa Belcher as being married in march 1902.

Have also found a birth in 1889 in Abingdon,though this would have made her around 12/13 when she married,not illegal at the time though,her children...William,Florence,Lily,Rose,and Fred...though not absolutely certain, as certain as i can be,got on good authority,and confirmed on Freebmd(the marriage and kids that is)

Not yet, my cousin is waiting for this to come through, seems to be taking for ever and my cousin is growing increasingly impatient for its arrival.
As for Charles, I have enough to get on with, its just Annie L Belcher, cant seem to find out much at all about her.

not sure of the siblings D.O.B. but there may b the chance that the 1st sibling may have been born nearer to Annie's age of 16/17, but your right though that would have been really young, the other Annie would have been 22 when married, big difference, the search goes on.......

Certificates always seem to take forever, I wait with interest to see where Annie comes from as I have a friend researching Belchers.

Maybe just coincidence but have also found this..
Albert H Belcher married Rosina V F Clutterbuck Dec 1919 in Bristol,freebmd..that's confused the matter even more
