Richard ROLFE born in about 1790 in Hayes is an ancestor of my grand-daughter and I find that he appears to have married twice.  First to a Martha ?? - first child born 1825 then Martha died in 1828.  Secondly to a Sarah ?? - their children were born between 1834 and 1846.
Would like to find the wives' surnames.  I realise a birth certificate of the youngest child should give me the maiden name of Sarah but is anyone else researching the ROLFEs ?

Hi Pat.
I am researching the Rolfe family but mine as far as I know are from Kent.
Sarah Rolfe born 1814 Frindsbury Kent the daughter of William Rolfe and Martha Rolfe nee Topley was my GGgrandmother.

I had noticed another Richard ROLFE of about the same age who was in Kent so perhaps that one is related to your family.
