Researching Donald Manson, the Scot who emigrated to Canada in early 1900s and was involved in development of radio in Canada with Marconi and then the Canadian Government. Any information on his life or career in Canada most welcome.

Thank you, Janice. I was aware of these websites. I also know that there is a fairly extensive collection of material regarding his professional life in the National Archives of Canada, but most of it is not available online. i know that he married Grace Quinlan in Sarnia, Ontario on 28.5.1914 and that he died on 3 Feb 1962, but that is about the extent of my knowledge of his personal life in Canada.

Other than the 1911 census information ...you seem to have a lot on him already... (I assume you must have that information, as you didn't give us an age...)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wow, that photo of him with all the radio equipment is awesome, Janice...you really have found a lot of information...
Thanks Janice. There are a lot of links there which are new to me. To JJ, he was born in Caithness, Scotland on 12 Oct 1887, so I now have his BDM. Would like to find out if he had any family. Spittalhill
