Hi again

Just noticed that you have her actual birthdate - do you have her birth certificate?

If so - what were her parents names and her mothers maiden name from the certificate as I am having problems finding her in 1891/1901

Was Thomas Leverington born in Norfolk as that is the only one I can find b 1876 on the 1881 census.  Were his parents William & Mary Ann?

Wow, I'm amazed at all the answers and so quickly!  MANY THANKS!!!!
I believe that her Father's name was Frederick Freeman and mother was Matilda?
There are family stories that Eveline had twin sisters...Mabel and Maud.
I don't have a birth certificate - just dates from my Great Uncle Al Leverington - he had his father's bible Thomas Leverington and now I have it.

thanks again - you're all so very helpful.
Now, from my family bible - it was given to Thomas Born Feb 1880 from his sister Martha M Leverington - 1890 is the date written - can you tell me how many brothers and sisters this family had?
All, I have is a picture from the Google website at the Nakusp Cemetary where they are both buried, and afew notes in a family bible.
Al Leverington was born in March 27, 1921 Ellice Manitoba Canada. He died in Oct. 2002 and I received some of his keepsakes.  (I had heard eveline  came over to canada as a mail orderbride for my great grandfather - maybe not? )
Many thanks

Hi

Firstly - Matilda died young

Deaths Sep 1892

Freeman  Matilda  aged 33  Reading Berkshire Vol 2c Page 209

Re: Thomas Leverington

The death entry suggests a birthyear of 1876/77 but you are saying that the Bible inscription was for a Thomas b Feb 1880

The 1881 census only has one Thomas Leverington born five years either side of 1876 and he did not have a sister Martha. That Thomas Leverington was b 1876/77 in Norfolk

I checked back to the 1871 census and forward to the 1891 but no Martha

Quote
They both were born in England

Martha Maria Leverington was only b 1890 so could not have given her brother a Bible.  It suggests an older Martha and one b in England if that was where Thomas was born

Maybe Glendal means Thomas born 1880 and Martha born 1890, as per written in bible. Could have been given by Martha when she was older with birthdates in.  We shall need clarification. Undecided
