Would appreciate any information on family of Alfred UPTON, a Market Porter in London, born 1849/50, died in London in1891, and his wife Jane Sophia ELLERY, born Charing Cross, London 1855. They were married at Christ Church, Spitalfields, Whitechapel 1875 (Jane Sophia was called Eliza Jane in her marriage certificate for some reason).
I have Jane living at 13 Paternoster Row, by St. Pauls in the 1891 census, with her mother and 3 children: Mary Ann aged 8; Katherine aged 7; and George aged 6.
Any information would be welcome as I cannot trace Jane and her family after 1891. She was my gt grandfathers sister.
