I would be tempted to check Littleport parish register 1786-91 for a burial of Richard! And while you're looking check for the marriage of Richard and Ann to get her maiden name as I think you're going to need it.

Re this thread. i purchased the parish records of Great Gransden on CD and there is in fact an Ann TOSSELL with a date of birth within 5 years of My Ann Porter(nee Topal) from Littleport. the treasurer of theLittleport society did look at the original entry for me one and said the surname looked like Topal to him, though i didn't have the Tossell info then to suggest to him.
