Its probably not fair to piggy back on someone else' posting   Embarrassed   but we are looking for :

George Tait d 14 Jul 1855
his wife Mary nee Smith d 19 May 1838
his son John Tait d 15 Mar 1858
John's wife Susannah nee Lang d 29 Jan 1847
and sister Mary Hempkin d 16 Nov 1873

Although these are probably in another cemetery from Revmother's John Walker.

If you can help, it may solve a big mystery - and break down a large wall !

Which of course would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Revmother,

Have you tried contacting:

http://www.maybole.org/history/index.htm

Maybole has a very active community and there is a group there how are keen to help with family history research and have information on their graveyard.

Also Ayrshire Archives may be able to point you in the right direction,
http://www.ayrshirearchives.org.uk/

Best wishes, Jimmijam
