Looking for George Poll and William Poll in 1841 and 1851- both born c 1825 in Suffolk.

I think maybe I will have a go at tracing back through Sarah Poll's mother's side - George Poll married Susan Mills Dec Q Wangford Suffolk in 1847 - any chance of finding Susan Mills in 1841 - born c 1824.

Sometimes the women stick together in cases of children born out of wedlock!
I would then also be looking for George and Susan Poll in 1851 and 1861 - I have them in 1871 living at Shipmeadow with a host of children including sarah aged 7.

Interestingly, sarah's son Arthur, born c1889 called himself Arthur sayer-Poll in adult life. So now I have found out where the Poll came from but the Sayer bit of his surname is also a mystery just waiting to be solved! His mother Sarah married James Maskell in 1892 and arthur is listed as Maskell in 1901 but living family members remember him as 'Sayer-Poll' - Curious!!!!!!!!!!
