Great Ormesby Manor house
« on: Wednesday 09 April 08 13:13 BST (UK) »

I'm researching a WW1 soldier who was killed in 1914. Major Robert Edward Rising lived at the Old Hall, Great Ormesby with Constance Elizabeth Rising and two children. His parents lived at the Manor House, Great Ormsbey. I'm interested in any information about the family - names of children, date of marriage etc and if there is a memorial to Major Rising in the local church or on a local war memorial.
Any help very much appreciated.

Don't know if this is the right one as there is Great Ormesby Hall in the village but couldn't get to it (fenced off)
