1851 Jervis families in Mucklestone
« on: Wednesday 09 April 08 09:21 BST (UK) »

I have a set of Staffordshire CD's that cover the 1851 census but Mucklestone doesn't appear on them. Was Mucklestone part of shropshire for the 1851 census?

If so I would be really grateful if someone could see approx how many Jervis's appear on the Mucklestone 1851 census.

Regards

Hi Graham,

Mucclestone Shropshire shows only 184 inhabitants in 1851, none of which called Jervis  Huh

Many thanks Tati.

Clearly the parish of Mucklestone in the IGI covered a much larger area as there are quite a lot of Jervis in the parish records at the turn of the 19th century.
