Hi Poll
We have the last surviving pilot from that "Dambusters" raid here in NZ and he is an invited guest to witness the flight to mark the anniversary.
89 yr old Les Munro of Tauranga New Zealand, an acquaintance of my father-in-law who was a Sunderland pilot.

You're up late Poll, 'watch those eyes' Roll Eyes meaning take care and rest them of course... didn't see any footage myself although there may have been an item. There was just one tiny snippet in the NZ Herald but it may have been covered
better by other publications. Maybe they'll interview him when he gets home.

Absolutely wonderful Poll thankyou
OH had just called me in from the garden to watch a video-on-demand coverage he found on World News, so we have just watched them both and were very impressed. Must get father in law over from next door to have have a look , he'll enjoy seeing them too when he comes in.
:)Thanks
