Rev George Brown, Rector of Pucklechurch
« on: Thursday 10 April 08 03:04 BST (UK) »

In his adult life, the Rev George Brown claimed to be the son of Lancelot Brown MP, and there is corroborating evidence that this is so.

(Lancelot, MP, was the eldest son of Lancelot (Capability) Brown.)

Does anyone know, eg from local records or knowledge, if the Rev George Brown was married, and, regardless, if he had any children ?

(The Rev George, who died 19 Jul 1819, was also Rector of Sidney College Cambridge - which he attended in 1810.)

If you can help it would be appreciated if you could post your reply on England - General, The Mystery associated with Lancelot (Capability) Brown  posted today 10/04/08 - this posting here will be locked
