A copy of one of the children's birth certificate in Victoria may help you solve a great deal. After all one of the parents gave the information which would have more credibility than information on a death certificate might have.

unfourtunatly dont know where he jumped ship different family rumors wa and sa have been told over the years even that someone worked for the palace as a postman george and elizabeth met while both working on a ship lots of family stories even that he moved around alot hiding from the law being wanted for jumping ship. i also live to far away to look up sa records
would love more information on this family, it is a real mystery to everyone about George there is talk of him on the ships and either he or his father working as a postman for the royal family in england (possibly Windsor)but unfortunatley when he jumped ship story goes that he was hidding from the law and moved around a lot not an easy feat in those days i have tried the police gazzetes but have had no luck there appears to be a ?mark as to the year he was born may have changed his age to get work, but we do know that he lived his last 20 years in albany western australia a very well liked man and the family involved in the community
