Hi Dudleylad

Any other clues?  Do we have a year?  Name it may be associated with?

Have had a quick glance thru Staffordshire but nearest is Hollington.

It could have been a farm name? House name?

Any more to go on would be great Cheesy

I have found what I believe to be one of my relatives in Birmingham Workhouse

Now the guy in question I believe to have been born around Smethwick just trying to cross reference to see if it is the same person

Im from near Smethwick but have not heard of an Hollands End

Is this from original writing? I have a Gallows Tree Elm which conjures up for what it was used for. I wonder if it is stilled called that. Regards Syljun
