I have just received the death certificate for my 3x great grandfather, he died at 7 Tradesman's Homes, Heaton Road, Manningham, the informant was his daughter of the same address, year 1887, his occupation was joiner and builder.
Were they built for tradesmen as the name implies and do they still exist today.

Well they were still there in 1912. In Kellys directory it states that Frank Walker was the secretary of the Tradesmens home and their offices were at 48 Vicar Lane Bradford. Frank was also the secretary for the Bradford spinsters endowment fund who shared the same office.
