I have a case i am working on
a Daniel sharmen.b. 1865
died 1924 mother Isabella Burton leicester .b. 1865.died 1924
son Horace burton .s..b. 1895 leicester died 1986
Charles Burton .s..b. 1898
Daughter Millicent .b.1887 Leicester st Margaret
Daniel was still at home the person thinks he was in his fithies and classed as a Boarder
his name is sharmen .Can you help me please

Have you got your dates/relationships a little muddled?
You have posted Daniel Sharman b 1865
and you state his mother was Isabella burton b 1865?
did you mean his wife was Isabella??

no thats what the person gave me i have tryed dates on ancestry but nothing came up for 1861 so i tryed another one nothing all he wanted was to know why he he was still classed as a boarder.i put in what he gave me .on the sheet he gave me hes in Warwick shre not leicestershire some where called shatteswell he put shottswell any way thanks for helping

Hi Danone,
If that is the family on 1891 (which you say is what you were given?) then why would you be looking in 1861 when the Daniel you gave wasn't born until 1865??
On what census was he a Boarder???

It seems his age differs from census to census -but this looks like him in 1861 -and a whole lot of Sharmans as neighbours

If Daniel's father was a methodist preacher -and Isabella was "not of the faith" then maybe that is why Daniel (seemingly0 didn't marry Isabella.
Check put FreeBMD for births of Millicent, harry, Horace and Charles H -they may be registered as Burton -not Sharman???
