Hi,
I am doing a one name study of the Rossiter family and am looking for information please about the parents, grandparents and siblings of George Hugh B Rossiter born in the March Qtr of 1886 in the Axbridge Registration District, Somerset.

Many thanks for that.
I found the grandparents ( Ernest & Laura) here:-

Strangely, the ages are a bit off, 1812 as opposed to 1816.
Ernest & Laura did not marry until about 1861. Is it possible to find Ernest's parents in the 1841 Census please then I should be able to link this entire branch with their ancestors?

As you say the entry is not much help.
I'm also wondering what he was doing in Berkshire.
At least that entry confirms his year of birth as 1816.

Hi alli,
Thanks for that looks like we've reached a dead end with this one.
Bath is a Rossiter enclave with lots of Rossiter families. Tracking down Ernest with his family would be next to impossible.
Just have to hope that I find a family in Somerset who are missing an Ernest.
