Can anyone help?, i have Elise Gertrude Wilson born circa 1888/1889 most likely at Torvil. Kent I am trying to establish if she married. 1901 census shows her to be living at Dartford.
Her sister was Ethel May born circa 1890 I know Ethel May married Frederick Wells in Dartford circa 1916, I know they had a son but I do not know his name or his age. I am trying to get a angle on him. I think that Frederick Wells died circa 1964/ at Deal. I believe they were living on the London road .
Hope someone can point me in the right direction

FreeBMD has the births of a few WELLS children in the Dartford and Medway areas where the mother's maiden name was Wilson.

If they stayed in the Dartford/Medway area then there is a good chance it is the Frederick L I listed above, with the father being Frederick. It might be worth getting the birth certificate to check, or checking at the register office to see if the mothers name is Ethel Wilson. I think you can do that, someone else may know that. Or you apply for the certificate but only want it if the mother is Ethel. You still pay for that but not the full fee. Have seen this mentioned in other posts.
