looking for details of offence of William Prior who was tried at the Cambridge Assizes on either 13th or 18th March 1811( unable to decipher exact date ) and was sentenced to life and transported to NSW for the crime. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance Turly

Jackson's Oxford Journal (Oxford, England), Saturday, April 6, 1811; Issue 3023. ASSIZES At Cambridge, Richard Beavis and William Prior, the former for a burglary at Stapleford, and the latter for stealing from a dwelling house at Grantchester, were both capitally convicted and received sentence of death, but were reprieved.
