It's an annoying niggle isn't it.  I would be interested to hear if they all turn up on the machine, (as before,) when your camera has no indication of them.

Hi

Eraser is for erasing (overwriting) files both on the computer and on removable media such as memory cards and sticks, CD-RW, floppies (what were they?), etc.

It's really a privacy tool. And no, it's not just for hiding your dodgy tracks. I use it at work to ensure that files of sensitive personal info on removable media really are gone and unrecoverable should it fall into the wrong hands - it's a shame HMR&C didn't pay as much attention to detail!
