Bringing Boyce's together again

WWW
WRENCH Family
« on: Saturday 12 April 08 16:14 BST (UK) »

I am interested in any info relating to my nans family name which is WRENCH .
They Originated in Aldbury and Rickmansworth area of Hetrfordshire from the 1700's onwards. My relatives moved to Somerset then the next generation came later to South Wales.

My nan was Mary Jane Boyce nee Wrench born 1903.
My nans father was John Wrench born1877.
He was the slightly older brother of Jane Wrench who married William  George Blackmore 15 June 1902 in Enmore Somersetshire England before they went to Maketa New Zealand where she later died in1923.

The easier answer is - Jane Wrench was my great grandfathers sister.
My Wrench family website is www.Wrenchfh.bravehost.com

there is the Wrench family tree on there.

Thanks
Dave Boyce
South Wales

Hello Dave,
Don't know if this is of any use, but my Bedfordshire Armstrongs had a marriage featuring a Wrench, as follows:
William Armstrong b1792 in Ravensden married (secondly) Ann Wrench in Thurleigh, Beds in 1827.
Due to the close proximity of the counties, you may find a link.
Good hunting,
Bob
