FULLER BRIGHTON
« on: Saturday 12 April 08 17:52 BST (UK) »

I have been searching for

Gilbert John Fuller born 1858 Sevenoaks Kent

to date I haven't found a marriage that fits, found him shown as single on 1891 and 1901 in West Ham.
I then decided to search for a death from 1919, I don't know why  chose that date but he would have been 60 ish, I have found a

death of Gilbert 1939 aged 80 in  Brighton, (no second initial)

there appears to be only 1 birth reg 1857/1860 and the RG was  Sevenoaks, so is this his death?..

Can anyone connect with this man , I would be interested to hear from anyone who might be connected

regards

Do you know of any children born to him?  By getting a birth certificate for one of them it should tell you the mother's maiden name.

Sorry for the delay in replying to my last 2 messages, I have been on holiday in Minorca and whilst everywhere in England was enjoying high temps, we weren't, lots of rain, very windy and chilly, nevertheless we enjoyed it, still I digress

Gilbert John  Fuller, I don't think this is his marriage, 1882,  as he was shown as "s" on 1891 and 1901 census.

We don't as yet know if he fathered any children.

I think my best choice is to go to the wills office in London, I know his aunt was in Brighton, she died after him so he wasn't in her will, if he left a will I should get some info.

I am helping a distant relative with this, we will resort to a cert if a will doesn't show up.

Thank you once again

regards

I am almost convinced this is my man, but he was nearly 60 if it was his first marriage, rather late, I am on the verge of ordering this cert but will check out wills first.

Many thanks Toni *
