hi there
we are looking for information on fred norris born dec 1889 in islip - registered bicester 3a 812
we know by looking in 1901 census records he shows as 11 years in islip but unfornately we are not subscribed to see the actual image is there anyone who can look up and forward information

Hi
We will need a little more information before we can prove anything.
Can you work back from either your dad or mum - whoever is the child of Fred.
We need to know Fred's children - particularly the date of the first born - then we need a birth cert to find out name of Fred's wife and only then can we start to determine a marriage for him
Do you have access to any of this information?

This is a challenge.
Our grandmother Mary Blodwen George married Edwin Maynard Wilkins born on Hook Norton. They lived in South Wales from 1919 to 1922 when Edwin Wilkins died. She did not go back to Llanidloes but to Chipping Norton area where Caleb Wilkins ran a public house. Our dad was born to Mary in 1924 two years after Edwin had died!!! Dad was born in London at the Mission of Hope in Wandsworth London and we know from their records that the father was Fred Norris but no location was given we know that he was an electrician in 1924. We realise we are clutching at straws but their ages are similar mary was born in 1891.

Do you know that there are well over 90 Fred/Frederick Norris' on the 1901 census born about the same time.
Where does the Bicester connection come from?
Why would she go to Wandsworth to have the baby?
