Two Deal Marriage Lookups please. Completed.

I have two Marriage License records.

16 October 1795 Rob Bane Berry and Sarah Cullen of Deal.

9 March 1796 Jas Sneller and Ann Cullen of Deal.

I would be very grateful for the Marriage Record details of Ann and Sarah.

I am hoping they may be sisters of my GGG grandfather Arthur Cullen who was married at St Leonards Deal in 1784 and that their records may give me some useful information.

There were two parishes in Deal at that time,  St Leonard and St George.  I think the marriage register for St George at that time may be missing Undecided

The records are only available at the Canterbury Cathedral Archives. They have the original Registers and also have it on film.

The copies of the Licences and Marriage records have now been ordered. Please keep your fingers crossed that we find what we are looking for this time.

Sorry Bill I didn't get your last message.

Once again I was given the wrong information when I contacted a Library. I was told that the records were only available from the Canterbury Cathedral Archives.

I have only recently become aware that it was possible to obtain copies of a Marriage Licience. I am awaiting a copy from the CCA. Would that have been available from Deal Library? Do Deal Library have an Index of the Records available?
