Albion Tavern, Chipping Norton approx 1896
« on: Sunday 13 April 08 08:44 BST (UK) »

Hi

Can anyone tell me if this place still exists or how I can find out more about it.  Caleb Wilkins was a beer retailer here in 1896.  Where exactly is this tavern in Chipping Norton.

Thanks for any assistance.

If you Google the name there are plenty of references to it - it's still there.

I think it's been turned into flats- that part of Chippy was a building site when we drove through a week or so ago.  Albion Street is still there, of course.  I can get pix of you'd like them
