Can anyone help with the following please.

James Brown born Berwickshire 1813 - 1816, married a Mary Dunn 1833 Swinton & Simprin after a irregular marriage 1833 Coldstream and Mary was born in Coldingham

1841 were in Dunbar with wife & 3 children, age looks like 25.
1851 had moved to Coldingham, Mary Ann Brown shown as  Pauper (Ag.Lab.)Widow with 5 children, last one born about 1850.

James could have died between 1849/51, nothing on L.D.S nor "scotlandspeople" have also had a search done by Borders F.H.S. all with no avail, no birth or death.

Have details of family and census, just James is the missing link.

I am sorry I am unable to help with your inquiry Brown - Simprin and Swinton, but I am hopeful you may be able to help me.  At the bottom of page Scottish Borders you have the name of Whitelaw, are they members of your family tree, as I am a descendant of John Whitelaw and Christina Tait, born about 1800

There are Whitelaws/Whitlaws in wife's tree, but have no information on them, sorry.
