I am having no luck either
In 1871 George Henry would be 16, I wonder if he was at sea, as his occupation was a Fisherman in 1881

Hi claire
there was a connection to Emberton Bucks with the 1851 census of the parents?
Could this be John Thomas in 1871 - might be abt right too, because (in the absence of a John Thomas WRIGHT registered in the right timeframe) if his is the Jun 1859 reg of a "Male WRIGHT" in the Biggleswade RD for Northampton, then he would have just turned 12 before the 1871 Census....
1871: Public House, Emberton, Buckinghamshire RG10 - Piece: 1421 - Folio: 53 - pg 4 Head: Richard PAKES 50, Publican, b Filgrove, Bucks Wife: Harriet 53, b Emberton Son: Daniel 16, carp'rs apprentice, b Filgrove Nephew: John WRIGHT 12, scholar, b Northampton

And just in case the connection is made, on the same page as 1871 PAKES household (schd 25) is the following chap, enumerated alone on schd 21:
Head: James WRIGHT 84, widower, formerly shepherd, b Emberton

Hi Claire
FREEBMD - Richard PAKES marriage reg. Newport Pagnall, Bucks (covers Emberton) in Dec Qtr 1840. A bride on same page is: Harriet WRIGHT.
John might have also felt the call of the sea - there is this one standing out a bit, in 1881:
Private in the 2/4 Regiment, Royal Navy - on ship "Serapis" John WRIGHT age 22, b Northampton, Northamptonshire RG11 / Piece: 5633 / Folio: 119 / Pg 27
