Elliot Oughton married Ann Coats at Kings Lynn St. Nicholas on April 2nd. 1802. Looking for any of the following:- Elliot's birthplace & birthdate, (or baptism date), where he died; burial place & date, also, names of his parents. I think he was born c1775 & possibly died before1840. An Elliot & Ann Oughton were witnesses at the marriage of Tillet Oughton & Phebe Crane in East Winch All Saints, on November 18th 1805. This is all the info I have. I hope someone can help. Hopefully, Cee. p.s this post also on Cambridge board.

Hi
There are several Oughtons in Norfolk in 1851 including an Elliott and a Tillett, not these ones but likely to be related.
If you pop along to my website, I will be happy to help. familytreechat.co.uk

Hello Teddy, I started this query on the Cambridgeshire board, so you might find it helpful to view that. Yes, All the Tillet & Elliot Oughtons probably belong to my branch which, so far, seems to start off in West Acre. In the West acre registers (Familysearch & freereg), all names are there except Elliot. Where is he? I found a mention of an Elliot Houghton ( the spelling varies) on the Norfolk History website of Honor Jones. He was in the Militia Lists, Deserters 1803. Though it isn't vital, it would be nice to find the link. Thanks for your interest. Cee
